Michael A. Romansky, JD

Michael Romansky, JD, has been a practicing health care lawyer and lobbyist since 1977. As an attorney for 25 years in the Washington, DC office of McDermott, Will & Emery, where he served as the partner-in-charge of its health law practice, Mike represented health care trade associations; medical specialty organizations; hospitals, physicians and ambulatory care providers; and pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers on legislative and regulatory matters before Congress, CMS, FDA, NIH and other federal agencies with jurisdiction over health programs. Since 1983, he has represented a number of ambulatory surgery center (ASC) associations and currently serves as Washington Counsel and Vice-President for Corporate Development to the Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society. He is a frequent writer and speaker on matters of concern to the ASC and related industries.

Mr. Romanksy is a graduate of Northwestern University and received his law degree from the George Washington University National Law Center.
