Kent Jackson, PhD., served as Executive Director of OOSS from 2013 to 2019. With a strong background in organizational development, Dr. Jackson has worked with a wide range of educational, non-profit and business organizations. In 2004 he began working with OOSS as a consultant, progressively guiding the society’s branding and strategic planning process, member research, clinical and business benchmarking and membership development programs. From 1990 to 2000 he served in internal consulting and management roles with the State Farm Insurance Companies. Prior to joining State Farm, he was a principal and part owner of a project engineering and construction management company. He began his career in 1968 as a counselor, administrator and instructor in higher education and has maintained affiliations with Northeastern Junior College, University of Northern Colorado, Oregon State University, Aims Community College and Regis University.

Dr. Jackson is a graduate (BA and MA) of the University of Northern Colorado and received his PhD from Oregon State University.
