GLITCHES, DELAYS, & FRUSTRATION: UPDATE ON OBTAINING ACCESS TO NEW COVID-19 RELIEF FUNDS
Yesterday, OOSS reported that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that healthcare providers, including ASCs, will be eligible to receive grants from a newly available pool of COVID-19 relief funds. Many of you have had difficulty entering the portal through which facilities can access these relief funds because HHS had not made the portal “live” as of late Friday afternoon.
The COVID-19 relief funds portal is now live and functioning. Some OOSS members have successfully entered the portal and received confirmation that their submission was complete.
You can attempt to gain entry and submit data HERE to initiate the process.
There may be further implementation issues and OOSS and the ASC community will work to resolve them when HHS reopens on Monday.
We will keep you posted regarding further COVID-19 relief funds developments. Should you have any questions, please contact OOSS Washington Counsel Michael Romansky at mromansky@OOSS.org or OOSS Executive Director Diane Blanck at dblanck@OOSS.org.
