The OOSS Symposium entitled, ENHANCING QUALITY, PRODUCTIVITY, AND PROFITS IN THE 21st CENTURY OPHTHALMIC ASC at AAO, brings together the leading experts in clinical ophthalmology, industry, and ASC business practices to discuss the contemporary issues of greatest concern to the owners, administrators, surgeons and clinical staff associated with the nation’s 900-plus ophthalmic ambulatory surgery centers. Topics in the 2012 conference will include: trends in health care, ophthalmology, and ambulatory surgery that will impact our ASC business; federal legislative and regulatory developments; enhancing efficiencies in the operating room; optimizing reimbursement in the ASC, legally; compliance with the ever-changing Medicare Conditions for Coverage; and, strategies for creative financing in the ASC.
Our target audience is the community of ASC owner/surgeon ophthalmologists, director’s of nursing and other clinical personnel, and administrators who practice in, or are contemplating practicing within, both single-specialty ophthalmic and multi-specialty ASCs that provide surgical eye care.
