OOSS Initiatives

The OOSS Board of Directors met for three days in September 2013 to formulate a strategic plan to guide the organization through 2016. Based on their collective experience and professional insights, members shared views about the future of health care, ophthalmology and surgical care in the ambulatory setting. They sifted through survey data from OOSS members and prospective members to identify key areas of critical need and opportunity. They carefully assessed the capacity of OOSS to serve and lead and then identified five highly integrated initiatives.

OOSS Concierge provides OOSS members with answers to their most pressing questions – 24/7.

OOSS University develops and delivers educational programming that serves the unique and dynamic needs of the entire ASC team.

OOSSLive/Advantage enables OOSS members to promote the advantages they offer while reaping the industry benefits they have earned.

OOSSPromo/Reach expands the reach and positioning of OOSS within the ophthalmic ASC community and the entire ophthalmic and ASC industry.

OOSSServes promotes the charitable work of OOSS members while also developing resources and best practices to maximize awareness and impact.
